Built in 1772 by Earl Carel George van Wassenaar, Lord of Twickel, as an inn on the Twickel Canal. Under the management of the Kluvers Family since 1837 and synonymous with gastronomic excellence in the eastern region of Twente. Carelshaven boasts 20 tastefully furnished double rooms, all of which are en suite and equipped with telephone, minibar and TV. Half of the rooms are situated in the main building and the other half in our garden wing. The rooms in the garden wing all have their own terrace or balcony.
